And so we arrive at our final show before the Protathlima begins. The football hasn’t even started yet and, reassuringly, everyone’s already given us plenty to complain about.

With Stel on holiday, Thassos has been left unsupervised and is doing this one solo. Which can only be a good thing. Mainly because there’s nobody there to stop him.

So, what’s on the checklist?

Ruben Selles is the new AEK head coach, which obviously requires an immediate and completely reasonable assessment of whether he’s the second coming of Guardiola or getting sacked by Christmas.

Charis Fotiou’s press conference turns out to be a PR disaster. Impressive, really.

Koutsakos is off to Norway, Karmiotissa continue collecting loan signings like they’re Panini stickers, and then manage to make a complete mess of what was supposed to be a nice philanthropic announcement. Because apparently even charity needs a communications strategy.
