The Cyprus Sports Organisation (KOA) has released a statement on the construction of the new Pafos stadium following today’s meeting between the Municipal Executive Committee, Pafos FC, the General Assembly of Koroivos and the Municipality of Geroskipou. “A broad meeting with representatives of Pafos FC, the General Assembly of Korivos and the Municipality of Geroskipou was held at the offices of the Cyprus Sports Organization, in the presence of the President of the CSO Yiannis Ioannou, Vice President Kalli Hadjiiosif and the members of the Board of Directors. The meeting held on Holy Wednesday, April 16, 2025, resulted in an initial agreement to upgrade the sports infrastructure of Paphos, in order to meet the needs of all the city’s sports bodies. Further and more specific announcements will be made after the meeting that will be arranged with the President of the Republic, Mr. Nikos Christodoulides, in order to be informed about the proposed projects and to approve the necessary funds for their implementation.
