PASP have released a statement with an update on Elias Chrysostomou: “The Pancyprian Footballers’ Association would like to express its satisfaction with the Cyprus Football Association (CFA) for approving footballer Elias Chrysostomou’s request to complete his transfer to his new team. Despite being submitted lawfully before the close of the January transfer window, the transfer had been stalled due to objections from his previous club, which filed an appeal against him, claiming an unlawful termination of his employment contract. Both the PFA and the player extend their gratitude to the CFA for its understanding and willingness to uphold a footballer’s right to work for the club of his choice. This decision was made regardless of any pending disputes with his former club and its insistence that the transfer should not proceed until the appeal was resolved.” Post navigation STALEMATE AT THE GSP Tax Proposal Rejected
