Olympiakos 2–2 Apollon:

Olympiakos and Apollon played out a dramatic 2–2 draw at the GSP Stadium, with both sides scoring deep into stoppage time.

João Mário gave Olympiakos the lead just before half-time, heading in unmarked from a corner. Apollon turned the game around late on – Vrikkis equalised in the 78th minute, and Weissbeck struck in the 94th to make it 2–1.

But Giorgos Kosti’s men refused to fold. In the 97th minute, Barbosa rose highest to head home the equaliser, earning the Taktakalas side a valuable point.

Sofronis Avgousti’s Apollon dominated large spells and looked set for victory, but defensive lapses at the end cost them all three points.

A frantic finish to a match that had everything – momentum swings, late goals, and no shortage of drama.

Ethnikos 5–1 Paralimni:

Ethnikos Achna delivered a commanding performance at the Dasaki Stadium, thrashing Enosis Neon Paralimni 5–1 to move up to fifth in the standings, while the visitors remain bottom with just one point.

Paralimni took an early lead through Musielani’s penalty in the opening minutes, but their advantage was short-lived. Papageorgiou capitalised on a goalkeeping error to level the score before Andereggen struck twice in first-half stoppage time to turn the game around.

Psaltis extended the lead with a superb long-range effort before the break, and Cejas completed the scoring in the second half as Ethnikos showcased their attacking quality and composure.

Despite hitting the woodwork twice, Paralimni never looked likely to recover, while Ethnikos’ confidence and efficiency underlined their growing momentum in the league.

Akritas 0-1 Omonoia Aradippou

Omonoia Aradippou pulled off a heroic 1–0 away win over Akritas, with Mouaddib scoring the decisive goal in the 22nd minute after a defensive lapse from the hosts.

The visitors were the better side for much of the match, controlling midfield and creating clearer chances – including a first-half effort that hit the post. Akritas pushed late on and were handed a lifeline deep into stoppage time when VAR awarded them a penalty, but goalkeeper Kostic saved Romo’s spot-kick in the 95th minute, sealing the win in dramatic fashion.

AEL 1–0 Krasava

AEL returned to winning ways with a narrow 1–0 victory over Krasava at the Alphamega Stadium. The decisive goal came in the 87th minute from Brazilian winger Natel, who made an immediate impact just moments after being introduced as a substitute.

The first half was largely uneventful, with limited chances and a slow tempo. Both teams improved after the interval, with AEL striking the post before eventually breaking the deadlock through Natel’s precise finish from a tight angle.

Anorthosis Famagusta 1–1 Aris Limassol

Anorthosis produced a spirited performance to hold title contenders Aris Limassol to a 1–1 draw.

Sensi opened the scoring for Anorthosis in the 30th minute, converting from the penalty spot after VAR confirmed a foul on Vukic. Aris responded immediately, equalising through Montnor following good work by Kvilitaia.

Both sides created opportunities to win the match – Aris struck the woodwork twice, while Anorthosis hit the post early in the second half – but the scoreline remained level.

AEK 1-1 APOEL

AEK and APOEL played out a 1–1 draw at the AEK Arena. Pieros Sotiriou put APOEL ahead from the penalty spot in the 25th minute, before Saborit levelled things early in the second half.

AEK started brighter, dominating possession and pushing APOEL back, but struggled to turn control into clear chances. Against the run of play, APOEL earned a penalty through VAR and Pieros made no mistake to give the visitors the lead. AEK hit the post just before half-time through Korbu as they pushed for an equaliser.

Within minutes of the restart, Saborit’s smart finish brought AEK back on level terms. From there, the hosts dictated play but lacked sharpness in attack, while APOEL looked content to absorb pressure and hit on the counter.

AEK came closest late on when Pereira’s clearance struck the post, but the score remained unchanged.

Omonoia 2-1 Pafos

Omonoia claimed a dramatic 2–1 victory over Pafos at the GSP Stadium to move top of the Cyprus League table.

Pafos took the lead in the 14th minute when Dragomir converted a low cross from Correia, and despite Omonoia’s dominance – including a thunderous effort from Tankovic that hit the bar – the visitors held on until half-time.

The Greens finally broke through in the 64th minute when Semedo unleashed a stunning strike from outside the box to make it 1–1. Omonoia kept pushing, and deep into added time, Jovetić won a penalty after a VAR review. Semedo stepped up and buried it in the 94th minute to seal all three points.

After eight rounds, Omonoia sit top of the Cyprus League with 19 points after a late comeback against Pafos, who drop to second by a single point. APOEL and Aris Limassol follow close behind on 17, while AEK Larnaca and Ethnikos Achnas round out the top six. Apollon and AEL hover in mid-table, still inconsistent, as newly promoted Akritas and Krasava scrap for survival. At the bottom, Olympiakos, Omonoia Aradippou, and Anorthosis continue to struggle, while Paralimni look completely lost with just one point and two goals all season.
