Pafos FC 4–0 Akritas Chlorakas

Pafos cruised to another effortless victory, brushing aside Akritas 4–0 in the rain at the Stelios Kyriakides. Correia opened the scoring with a free header on 34 minutes, before Bruno doubled the lead just before half-time with a superb acrobatic finish. After the break, Pafos stayed in full control, limiting Akritas to half-chances while dictating possession and tempo.

The leaders wrapped things up late on: Anderson made it 3–0 with a delicate chip after racing onto Correia’s through-ball, and an Antoniou own goal sealed the rout.

Paralimni 0–1 Krasava

Krasava left Paralimni with a hard-earned but deserved 1–0 win, in a match defined by discipline, structure, and a decisive moment that Paralimni failed to match. The visitors were the more cohesive side throughout, hitting the bar in the first half through Trujic before finally breaking the deadlock on 61 minutes, when Koumouris finished a sharp counterattack. Paralimni struggled to build sustained pressure and often found themselves disjointed between lines.

Even so, the hosts had a golden chance to salvage a point in stoppage time after VAR awarded a handball penalty. Charalambous stepped up, but Zadro made a brilliant save to preserve the lead. Krasava managed the closing stages with maturity, while Paralimni were left to rue missed opportunities and a lack of composure in key moments.

AEK 2-1 Ethnikos

AEK struggled but eventually beat Ethnikos 2–1, returning to winning ways and rising to 3rd place with 27 points. Angielski scored the decisive goal in the 83rd minute, giving AEK their 8th win of the season ahead of Thursday’s match against Häcken. Ethnikos fought hard, equalised through Breno, but couldn’t leave the Arena with a result.

AEK dominated early, creating chances through Milićević and Ivanović before Miramón fired in the opener on 27’. The home side pushed for a second but led 1–0 at half-time.

Ethnikos improved in the second half, equalising on 75’ through Breno. AEK quickly responded and sealed the win when Gnali squared for Angielski to make it 2–1.

Olympiakos 0-3 Omonoia

Omonoia beat Olympiakos 3–0 and head into Thursday’s match against Rapid in high spirits. The win moves them up to 2nd place, two points off the top. Semedo was the star with two goals and an assist.

Omonoia created early chances before Olympiakos hit the post through Charalambous. Semedo eventually struck on 35’ after Jovetić’s shot was parried. At half-time it was 1–0.

In the second half, Omonoia pushed for another goal. Semedo had one ruled out, missed another chance, but later assisted Eraković for 2–0 on 69’. Semedo added his second on 75’ to seal a dominant performance.

APOEL 2-0 Aris

APOEL beat Aris 2–0 at the GSP. Koutsakos scored with a header on 8’, and Drazic doubled the lead on 84’. APOEL defended superbly and capitalised on their chances, returning to winning ways.

Aris created pressure in the first half but lacked final passes and finishing. APOEL threatened on transitions but spent long spells defending. Both teams traded shots, with Aris winning many corners but failing to convert.

The second half was quieter, with few chances. On 73’ Tomas forced a big save from Foderingham. Late in the game, Drazic pressed Goldson, stole the ball, and made it 2–0.

Omonoia Aradippou 1-3 AEL

AEL beat Omonoia Aradippou 3–1 at “Antonis Papadopoulos”. Singh scored twice (4’ and 18’) and Glavčić added a third (73’). AEL dominated early, while Aradippou struggled to circulate the ball. Pontikos pulled one back with a header on 39’. In the second half, Aradippou pushed, but AEL slowed the tempo and struck on a counterattack to seal it.

Apollon 0-0 Anorthosis

Apollon and Anorthosis played out a 0–0 draw at Alphamega Stadium. Apollon applied more pressure, while Anorthosis defended and looked for counters. Apollon had chances through Zmerhal and Tomas, while Anorthosis threatened through Paroutis and Vukic. The visitors had a goal disallowed for offside. The second half featured few chances, many fouls, and little rhythm. Kiko had the best late chance, but Kuhn saved. The match ended goalless.

After 13 rounds, Pafos sit top of the Cyprus First Division with 31 points, narrowly ahead of Omonoia on 29 after a strong run that’s closed the gap to just two. AEK Larnaca follow in third on 27, with Aris Limassol and APOEL just behind on 26 and 25 respectively, making the race for Europe extremely tight. Apollon (21) and an improving AEL (20) hover just outside the top six, while Olympiakos, Ethnikos, Akritas and Anorthosis form a congested mid-table group separated by only one point. At the bottom, Krasava and Omonoia Aradippou struggle on 10 points each, but Paralimni are in serious trouble, rooted to last place with just a single point and a goal difference of –27.
